Walchand College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering education institute in the city of Sangli, Maharashtra, India. The WCE campus is situated on nearly 90 acres of land in Vishrambag, roughly midway between the twin cities of Sangli and Miraj.
Introduction
High - Performance Computing (HPC) most generally refers to the practice of aggregating computing power in a way that delivers much higher performance than one could get out of a typical desktop computer or workstation in order to solve large computational problems in science, engineering, or business . The goal of this workshop is to provide the attendees, who are mainly the young faculty, PhD Scholars and M.Tech students from different institutions of Maharashtra in particular, and all over the country in general, with a focus on parallel computing and in - depth platform for presentations, discussion and interaction in the field of high - performance computing (HPC)
